	When is the best time to start a weed control program for my lawn? While Fall is the best time to get started, it's never too late to begin solving your weed problems. We start with the Pre-emergent weed control during mid-August through late November What is Pre-Emergent? It's a special weed control that works below the soil within the root system of your turf. During the Fall is when broadleaf weeds sprout such as dandelions, chickweed and henbit (the one with a purple flower) and many others. When the weed seed puts out a root the pre-emergent kills the weed root! The result is no weeds emerge
